Welcome to A Travelling Guide to Elsewhere
If you’ve ever felt like the typical travel guide leaves out the soul of a place—or if you’ve ever felt caught between worlds yourself—you’re in the right corner of the internet.
I’m Luba — a writer, creator, and perpetual seeker of places (and ideas) that don’t always fit into a standard travel brochure.

I’ve spent years navigating different cultures, landscapes, and chapters. Born and raised in Brazil, I packed up at 25 to spend a transformative, unforgettable year living in Ireland with my best friend. In 2017, I crossed the ocean again to build a life in South Florida, including two years exploring the vibrant energy of Orlando, before preparing for my next major pivot back to my roots in Brazil.
For a long time, I thought “elsewhere” was a specific coordinate on a map—a different city, a new country, or a milestone that would finally make everything make sense. But after moving across the world in search of life, I learned that elsewhere isn’t just a physical location. It’s a state of being.

The Story Behind the Screen
My perspective is shaped by being a “cultural translator”—someone who sits at the intersection of different worlds, looking beyond standard tourist scripts and surface-level travel brochures. I believe travel isn’t just about collecting passport stamps; it’s about changing how we see the world and ourselves.
This platform is where those two worlds meet:
The External View: Practical, scannable destination guides, local nooks, hidden coastal spots, and interactive maps to help you explore effortlessly—starting right here in South Florida and expanding into the heart of South America.
The Internal View: Raw diary entries, weekly reflections, and honest life lessons on human nature, overcoming procrastination, finding purpose, and the everyday courage it takes to change your mind.
I am no academic expert—just a writer dedicated to showing the world as it really is: richer, deeper, and far more connected than we think.
